Hong Kong Police certificates are usually used for applications for overseas immigration, overseas study and employment, work visas, and applications for permanent residence. Hong Kong Police Certificate is issued by the Hong Kong Police Force. OPTION 1: APPLICANT IN HONG KONG<\/strong><\/h6>

If the applicant is in Hong Kong, the applicant should apply for the Hong Kong Police Certificate in person at the Police Certificate Office, 14 \/ F, Arsenal House, Police Headquarters, 1 Arsenal Street, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.<\/p>

Fingerprints are required to apply for a Hong Kong Police certificate. If the applicant is in Hong Kong, he or she can make an appointment at the Hong Kong Police Force for the free fingerprinting service. Booking a fingerprint service can be made up to 60 days in advance.<\/p>

OPTION 2: APPLICANT NOT IN HONG KONG<\/strong><\/h6>

When the applicant is not in Hong Kong and needs to collect fingerprints, the applicant can go to the consulate of the applicant’s residence or some overseas law enforcement agencies to collect fingerprints.<\/p>

    Governments of other countries or regions cannot directly confirm the authenticity of Hong Kong police certificates.
